Eve could never have imagined that her trip to Australia, where she is set to be maid of honor for her best friend's wedding, could turn from exciting to deadly so quickly.
Her sheltered and boring vanilla life comes to a screeching halt when she arrives in Australia and witnesses a shocking MC murder putting her life in extreme danger. The Carnal MC are a dangerous and savage motorcycle gang who want Eve and will stop at nothing to seek their revenge.
Just when it seems her nightmare fate is sealed, Eve is rescued by the Severed MC and quickly falls for the club's Vice President Gabe aka "Angel". This could be just the diversion she needs. With her new protectors, Eve faces a whole new life she never could have imagined...
Gabe never wanted an old lady. One look at the beautiful Eve cowering at the hands of the enemy changes all that. Starting a war with the Carnal MC and having Eve in his bed is just the beginning.
When Gabe stakes his claim, he goes all in. War with Carnal MC is just the price of making Eve his, and only his. But love invites blood and tragedy in an MC's life.

In SEVERED ANGEL, Eve goes to Australia for her best friend's wedding, but on the way to her house, Eve runs into trouble with the Carnal MC and their Vice President, Satan. Carnal is the rival to the Severed MC that Eve's best friend's fiance is the President of. When Severed arrives to help Eve out of a deadly situation with Carnal, she meets Angel, the Vice President of Severed. But it brings her no comfort, because he looks exactly like the one who threatened to kill her. Turns out that Satan of Carnal and Angel of Severed are twins, and a war between the two MC's is brewing, with Eve in the middle.
I found SEVERED ANGEL to be a very intense, but gripping story. There are some pretty graphic scenes, hence the 18+ warning.
This story is basically like a sibling rivalry, and in a sense it is. Angel and Satan were never close, even though they are twins, and they are always at each other's throats. so it makes sense that they would be in rival MC's. Add in a murder witness and love interest, and you have a war on your hands.
There is a HUGE cliffhanger at the end of SEVERED ANGEL. I was just like screaming, You have got to be kidding me! It can't end like this! How long do I have to wait for the next book?! So just by that, you can tell that I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series.
The Guy: Gabe was given the name "Angel" when he was patched into the Severed MC, and is now the Vice President of the club. He has a deadly sibling rivalry with his twin brother Kellan, also known as "Satan," who is the Vice President of their rival MC Carnal. After a gruesome incident involving his previous "old lady," at the hands of his brother, Angel hasn't let himself fall in love again. But with the arrival of Eve, that all changes, for better and worse.
The Girl: Eve left her young daughter in England, to go to Australia for her best friend's wedding. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. She ends up lost and in Carnal territory, witnesses and murder, is almost killed by a man named Satan, and the saved by another named Angel, who looks exactly like her would-be killer. This thrusts her into the middle of an MC war, because Satan will not give up until she is dead and Angel will do anything to protect her.
Satan is just as his name would make you imagine. He is evil to the core. He has done so many gruesome and unspeakably heinous things, and a lot of them just to hurt his twin brother Angel. At the center of his motivation to make Angel suffer is jealousy. He felt like the one unwanted and unloved. So he wants to make Angel suffer as he did.
The one thing that we see that Satan did to hurt Angel the most involved Angel's old lady, Beth. I won't go into specifics, because it's one of the graphic scenes I was talking about, but it's very gruesome and horrifying. And he video recorded it all just for Angel to see, and those images still haunt Angel to this day.
When Eve witnesses a murder that Satan and his Carnal buddies committed, he's determined to kill her too. He never leaves a witness alive. But then Angel and the Severed MC come to save her, and he loses his chance. But that doesn't mean that he's given up. Not by a long shot. And the fact that Angel is the one protecting her, shows him another way to hurt his brother.
The romance between Eve and Angel doesn't start on a good note. It really didn't help that Angel looked like the man that tried to kill her. She was totally freaked out each time she saw him until it was told to her that Angel is Satan's twin brother, and that they are not the same person.
The attraction between them was almost instant, once Eve settled down and was able to see him as Angel and not Satan. Angel doesn't want to get too attached, especially after what happened to Beth at his brother's hands. But as he gets to know her and they have a few steamy nights together, he begins to see her as "old lady" material, but he still won't admit to having deeper feelings for her. It isn't until a club brother (Ink) starts showing interest in her, that Angel knows that he'll have to admit his feelings and "claim" her before someone else does.
There is so much more that I could say about the relationship between Eve and Angel, but I'll let you as readers find that out when you read the book. But I will say that the ending of the book, and how Eve left, will leave you wanting to next book right away to know what will happen between her and Angel.
