CHANGES & MERGER

Hello! I'm currently in the process of merging my 3 sites to make it easier for me to keep everything up.

So all book tours that have a ROMANCE title will be posted to the new site instead of here on Booksniffer Book Reviews. All non-romance titles will still be posted here.

Those posts can be found here: http://loveineverypage.weebly.com/

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but it'll be better in the long run.

For Adriana Monroe life couldn’t get any better. She has great friends, her photography business is booming and she married Alex, her childhood best friend. Life is perfect. It’s a fairy tale really.

But one night changes everything for her.

Suddenly she’s alone. She’s afraid to trust and afraid to love. Most of all she’s afraid she’s broken beyond repair. Nightmares torment and haunt her every time she closes her eyes.

Will she ever be the same?

For Tucker Stavros it looks to the outside world like things come easy for him. He’s gorgeous, rich, famous, has a hot girlfriend. Hell, he’s a movie star. If women aren’t trying to get with him then men are wishing they are him. What they don’t see is the broken child hiding behind the smiles he fakes for the cameras. They don’t see the man who wakes up drenched in sweat from his nightmares from a past he can’t escape.

Betrayal sends him running.

A chance encounter throws Tucker and Adriana together. They try to fight their attraction for each other. They feel they’re too broken for the other.

Will they continue to suffer in the hell of dreamland separately or will they find that Waking Up to real life together can be so much sweeter?

WAKING UP is the story of two people broken by loss and betrayal. Adriana is still mourning the death of her husband, sixteen months later. Tucker was just betrayed by his girlfriend who cheated on him with a coworker. Both are running from their pasts and the realities of their presents.

I was back and forth on this book. There were moments when I was swooning and then there were moments when I was infuriated (which I'll get into more in the next sections).

There were some point of views that were kind of confusing. One moment I was reading from the third person, then all of a sudden I was reading for first person. So that was a little confusing at times, but the overall story I really enjoyed. And with the way that this book ended, I'm really looking forward to the continuation of Adriana and Tucker's story.

The Guy: Tucker is a famous movie and TV star, who is currently starring in a popular supernatural TV show where he play main character, as vampire. At the end of shooting this last season, he discovers his girlfriend cheating on him with a coworker. Angry, he tells her to be out of his house by the time he comes back. And that's how he ended up on the road, driving aimlessly, until he enters a small town in New Hampshire. His grams told him to stay there and find an adventure, to keep himself open to possibilities. He never expected to find Adriana.

The Girl: Adriana is still mourning the death of her husband, who had been her best friend and the only man she ever love since she was 6 years old. She has gone so far into her grief that she's stopped living life; her eyes are vacant, she refuses to let anyone touch her, and it has her friends worried. But then Tucker walks up to her in her driveway looking for directions, and something inside her begins to change.

This is where I became infuriated at times. I know that Adriana is still mourning her husband, and the grief process take a different amount of time for everyone, but the way she treated Tucker sometimes just made me want to slap some sense into her.

There were definitely some very hot and swoony moments between them, but then she goes all distant and vacant and making Tucker hope for something that may be impossible for her to give. I mean, the man can only take so many hits to his heart before it's shattered completely. It's just not right. And how WAKING UP ended, I'm not a big fan of Adriana's at all.

Thank you for posting!!! <3 As the writer, I'm not a fan of Adriana at the end of the book either. But, I am furiously writing book two to get it out to everyone and hopefully she wakes up and sees what's in front of her!
