Tripp meets Doll at a club barbecue and is instantly drawn to her, but she's the club president's daughter and off limits. But when an enemy comes knock on Doll's door, her father Roundman, sends her to Tripp and he is to take her on one ride so that the threat can be taken care of. That one ride changes them both forever. They learn things about themselves, their lifestyles that they never knew before. Realistically, they both know that when they return home, they may never see each other again, but their hearts yearn for each other across the distances.

ONE RIDE is really a journey of discovery for Tripp, Doll, Dex, and Sass. This ride takes the all across the country. They visit numerous states and other motorcycle clubs. They live, learn and love along the way. This was a really exciting read and I just couldn't put it down. I'm really looking forward to reading the sequel, Forever Ride, because I really want to know what happened with the Delatorre situation.

One thing that I really wanted to know, that was completely dropped as the story progressed, was about the tattoo that Doll wanted to get of an eagle holding a heart and a shield in it's talons. This may be a little spoiler here, so stop right now if you don't want to know more about the tattoo: After it's revealed that Tripp has the same tattoo, just slightly different, it's just dropped. I want to know if Doll ever gets that tattoo. I know it's a small detail, but sometimes the small details are important.

I thought that it was really cool how the MC's that they visited were actually from other book series. Like the Shifters Pack is from Theresa Marguerite's Broadus Supernatural Society series, the Mitchell family is from Amy Cox's Broken Roads series, and the Heaven Hill MC is from the Heaven Hill series by Laramie Briscoe. I'm really interested in reading these books, thanks to what I read about them in ONE RIDE. So kudos to Chelsea Camaron for helping these authors out by featuring their characters in her book.

"Doll": Delilah "Doll" Reklinger. Daughter of the Haywood's Hellions President, Roundman. A Hellions princess, therefore off limits. Runs the club's mini storage facility. Feels an instant attraction to Tripp. Targeted by Delatorre.

"Tripp": Talon "Tripp" Crews. President of the Catawba Hellions chapter. Drexel's cousin. Owns Crews Transports, a trucking company. Instantly attracted to Doll, but knows that she's off limits. Ordered to take Doll and Sass on a ride, while Delatorre is dealt with.

"Sass": Savannah "Sass" Perchton. Daughter of the Haywood's Hellions Vice President, Danza. A Hellions princess, as well. Has feelings for Tank, a Hellion, and they are close friends. But one night together has strained their relationship. She wants a shot at normal now, and nothing to do with the MC life.

"Rex": Drexel "Rex" Crews. VP of the Catawba Hellions chapter. Talon's cousin. A ladies man, whose only boundary is ol' ladies. His motto is "Hit it, get it, and go. No repeats."

Delatorre planed on kidnapping Doll and using her to get Roundman to do business with him. He blackmails Amy Mitchell, who has a connection to Doll though her old college roommate, Rachael, by threatening Rachael's daughter Alyssa. But when Amy didn't do as he wanted, he beat her and changed tactics. His threats against Doll, right to Roundman's face and on Hellions turf I might add, cause Doll and Saa to be sent away with Tripp and Rex to protect them. What happened to Delatorre isn't revealed until the next book, Forever Ride.

Doll and Tripp have explosive chemistry. They both have this tug-of-war going on inside themselves where their feelings for each other come into play. Doll knows that she wants to be with a biker, that no one else would be able to handle her. She was brought up in the biker lifestyle and wants everything it entails. Tripp, on the other hand, feels that Doll deserves better than the life that he can give her.

One of my favorite quotes is said by Doll, that I feel really sums up the point I'm trying to make.

"This is my world, Talon, I don't know any other way. Don't close yourself off when you could have it all. And all of it could be sitting right in front of your face."

Doll is ready to make a commitment to Tripp, but feels insecure at times, because of his battle with himself. There are times when he shows her that she's everything, and then others when he completely pushes Doll away. Their whole relationship is basically a battle between what their minds know is right and what their hearts want. There's this constant struggle, and outside influence don't help the situation.
